Founder & Creative Lead

Nadia Piet (she/her) is an independent researcher, designer, and organizer with a focus on (critical) AI, (digital) culture, technology, creativity, and participatory practices.

She started the AIxDESIGN Community in 2019, shortly after publishing the AI Meets Design toolkit, and continues to work daily as its founder and creative and research lead.

Besides that, she's faculty at ELISAVA's MA Design for Responsible AI, holds an MA in Data-Driven Design, and works on commissioned and self-initiated projects that unpack how we shape technology and it shapes us in return.

When she’s not working, you can find her balancing on a yoga mat, cooking up spicy foods, redecorating her animal crossing island, or spotting nudibranches underwater.
